Educational sessions were organized across multiple settings, including the UHTC, RHTC, and EWS OPDs for Patients, caregivers, and community members attending with focus on Explanation of AMR, its causes, and its far-reaching implications for public health, steps to prevent infections, such as maintaining personal hygiene, ensuring clean drinking water, and using sanitation facilities ,the importance of completing prescribed antibiotic courses to prevent resistance and the critical role of vaccination in reducing dependence on antimicrobials. |
The sessions were conducted in an interactive format to ensure better engagement and comprehension among participants. Visual aids and multilingual posters were used to simplify complex medical concepts for the lay audience.
- Quiz Competition (20th November 2024)
A quiz competition was organized for the UHTC and RHTC staff to test and enhance their knowledge of antimicrobial resistance in Demonstration Room, Department of Community Medicine to highlight the importance of continuous professional development in combating AMR effectively.

The observance culminated in a high-level panel discussion featuring experts from multiple disciplines, including Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Medicine, and Paediatrics.
