World Oral Health Day 2017 Camp at RHTC, Madanpur Khadar
World Oral Health Day was launched on 20 March 2013 by FDI World Dental Federation. The day also marks the launch of a year-long campaign to raise awareness of oral health and prevention of oral diseases so that governments, health associations and the general public can work together to achieve healthier mouths and happier lives. The theme for 2017 is Live Mouth Smart. Departments of Community Medicine, Dentistry and ENT had organized a camp at Rural Health Training Centre, Madanpur Khadar on 20th March 2017 to celebrate World Oral Health Day. 314 patients attended this camp with 84 referrals to HAH Centenary Hospital. Local NGOs like Agragami participated with fervor, by facilitating dental and ENT check-up of 93 children from the community. Health Education was conducted by interns on this occasion.
