The Deptt. of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, HIMSR in collaboration with Indian Society of Colposcopy & Cervical pathology had organized an online CME with theme “Cervical cancer prevention: A collaborative commitment” on the occasion of “Cervical cancer elimination day” on 17th November, 2023.
It was attended by MBBS students, interns, nurses, medical officers, AYUSH and paramedics nationally as well as internationally. Around 450 registrations done. It was joined by many speakers and faculties from various medical colleges across the globe apart from the organizing committee. This occasion was graced by presence of our respected Dean Ma’am Dr Mridu Dudeja and M.S. Sir Dr. Musharaf Husain.
Very informative & enlightening lectures were delivered by our respected speakers covering cervical carcinoma elimination strategies by dr Swati Agrawal, screening tests by Dr Mamta Dagar & Dr Nidhi Gupta, HPV vaccination by Dr Aruna Nigam and treatment of pre-invasive lesion by Dr. Arifa Anwar to create awareness amongst the healthcare providers. The online CME conducted successfully and certificates of participation were given to all the delegates.
