Brief Report on Blood Donation Camp at Blood Centre, HAHC Hospital
(28th September 2022)
A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organised by Department of Pathology in Blood Centre, HAHC Hospital on 28th September 2022 on the occasion of birthday of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. This camp was part of a massive blood donation drive supported by Delhi government along with State Blood Cell and STBC. Camp was inaugurated by Dean HIMSR Prof (Dr.) Mridu Dudeja and Medical Superintendent Prof (Dr.) Musharraf Husain in the presence of Officiating HOD Pathology, Prof Sabina Khan and her team of enthusiastic faculty members. They congratulated the Department and applauded the donors for this noble cause. Hon’ble MLA of Sangam Vihar Mr. Dinesh Mohaniya also visited blood centre along with a team of few voluntary donors’ thereby motivating people of the adjacent areas to actively support and participate in the camp. Many enthusiastic students, health care workers and people from neighbourhood areas also donated blood. As a token of appreciation, all the donors were presented with certificates and customised red caps with “I am a proud blood donor” written on it. The camp was a massive success as there was an overwhelming response and many people registered for blood donation at Blood Centre, HAHC Hospital.
