Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and its associated Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital is accredited with NABH and NABL located at Guru Ravidas Marg, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi-110062 requires Radiographer (MRI & CT Technician) in the Department of Radio-Diagnosis in HIMSR & HAHC Hospital.

Essential Educational Qualification
Radiographer (MRI & CT Technician)-01

 

Ø  Bachelors of Science in Medical Imaging Technology (B.Sc.-MIT) / Radiography Technology degree from a recognized Educational Institution preferably with 02 years of experience.

Ø  Good analytical Skills and Demonstrated proficiency in handling cutting-edge medical equipments.

Ø  Additional specialized evidence-based training in the field of Radio-Imaging.

Ø  Candidate should have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Explaining procedure to the patients and preparing them for it.
  • Ensuring prevention of wrong patient, wrong site, wrong procedure.
  • Positioning of the patients according to the immobilization devices.
  • Assisting the radiologist performing the radiographic procedures.
  • Ensure use of radiographic safety practices and radiation protection techniques for the patients as well as staff.
  • Ensure wearing the TLD badge continuously and exposure within recommended limits.
  • Assist in capturing and maintenance of the quality indicators of the department.
  • Ensure TAT of reporting is maintained.
  • Continuous checking of the equipment functioning and report to the radiologist in case it needs repair.
  • Maintaining clean, safe environment in the department.
  • Rechecking of the personal details on the file of the patient before handing over.
  • Checking the quality of the radiographs according to the defined standards and protocols.
  • Storage and maintaining record of the x-ray films and other inventory in the department.
Salary: Rs 25,000/- per month
Date: 30.07.2024 (Tuesday)
Registration Timing: 10:30 A.M.  – 11:00 A.M.
Walk-in-Interview: 11:00 A.M.  – 12:00 P.M.
Venue: College Council Room, Ground Floor, HIMSR Building.
