Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and it’s associated HAH Centenary Hospital Guru Ravidas Marg, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi is accredited with NABH and NABL.

We are looking for the following positions for Establishment of Tobacco Cessation Center (Eligible candidates are invited to apply for this post at HIMSR on contractual basis).

In-charge-01

MBBS & MD-Community Medicine from NMC recognized and registered medical institute.

Desirable: One-year Experience work post MD

To offer professional services, conducts initial identification and preliminary patients counselling
· Assists psychologist in taking clinical notes and record documentation.
· Helps in identifying community sites, plans, coordinates programmes for tobacco deaddiction and awareness among school, institutes, health centers.
· Performs various administrative tasks and works under general supervision.
· Provide/prescribe Pharmacotherapy in the form of NRT as and when required as per patients need.
· Training of staff for capacity building.

Clinical Psychologist-01

Master’s degree in Psychology.

Desirable: At least one year experience in Psychiatric and Behavioral counselling.

· Administer and interpret psychological assessment and testing.

· Provide psychological treatment (psychotherapy) along with consultation.

· Record clinical notes and maintain record keeping.

· Conduct psychological research.

· Develop and plan of preventive and curative programme.

· Organize community based deaddiction programme administration.

· Train undergraduate dental students and train them in developing practical counselling skills.

· Provide personal approach tailored to stage behaviour change of the patient.

• Working through pros and cons of tobacco habit with the patients

• Equipping the patient with useful life skills to aid smoking cessation

• Moving the patient from his/her current stage of behaviour change to the above one.

· Performs administrative tasks and works under general supervision.

· Any other job assigned by the in-charge.

40,000 to 45,000 per month

Medical Social Worker-01

Master’s degree in social work

Desirable: At least one year experience in medical and Psychiatric social work with behavior counselling.

· Conducts initial identification and preliminary counselling of patients.

· Assist psychiatrist, psychologist and medical doctor in clinical notes and record documentation.

· Data maintenance and record keeping

· Identifies leaders in local areas Principles, head master, Sarpanch, RWA heads.

· Identifies plans and coordinates community based programmes of tobacco deaddiction and awareness among schools, institution and health centres.

· Performs variety of administrative tasks and works under general supervision.

· Any other job assigned by the In-charge.

Data Entry Operator-01

Graduate degree in any field with competency in computer work – Microsoft office.

• To assist TCC In-charge in maintenance electronic data base system and record keeping of the patient registered in TCC.

• To assist MSW in reminder messaging during follow-ups and tracking follow-ups of the patients.

• To assist in liasoning for referrals and cross referrals.

• To help in recording during community based activities.

• Any other job assigned by the in-charge.

22,000/-

per month

General Conditions:

The Institute reserves the right not to fill-up the vacancies if the circumstances so warrant and to call only short-listed candidates for test/interview.
