Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and it’s associated HAH Centenary Hospital Guru Ravidas Marg, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi is accredited with NABH and NABL.

We are looking for the OT Technician (Early/Immediate Joiners are welcome to apply).

 

The specification for the post is as under:

Job Title OT Technician-01
Qualification    BSc. (Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technician)
Relevant Experience 1-2 years
Salary 21,000 negotiable as per experience
 

 

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

 ·        Preparation and maintenance of the operation theatre.

·        Preparation and positioning of the patient for the surgical procedure.

·        Assisting the surgeons and anaesthetists in surgery related tasks.

·        Maintaining clean and hygienic environment in the operation theatre.

·        Ensure the availability of clean and sterilized equipment’s in the operation theatre before the surgery.

·        Transport of the patient from one zone of the operation theatre to the other.(theatre to recovery room)

·        Arrangement of the equipment, supplies and instrument in the operation theatre as per the surgery.

·        Thorough understanding of the operation theatre protocols and standards.

·        Ensuring medical gases and pipelines are appropriately attached and in working condition.

·        Ensuring adequate number of consumables available in the department.

·        Monitor the repair TAT and preventive maintenance cycle of the equipment and instruments in order to ensure the availability in working condition

General Conditions:

  1. The Institute reserves the right not to fill-up the vacancies if the circumstances so warrant and to call only short-listed candidates for test/ interview.

All original certificates/documents in support of information furnished in the application form are to be produced at the time of verification of documents, failing which the candidate will be disqualified. Candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or is not found in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
  5. Documents received after the closing date will not be entertained.
