Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and it’s associated HAH Centenary Hospital Guru Ravidas Marg, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi is accredited with NABH and NABL.
We are looking for the post of Junior Lab Technician in Biochemistry Department (Eligible candidates are invited to apply for this post at HIMSR on contractual basis).
The specification for the post is as under:

| Job Description
|
· Collection, labelling, handling and storage of the samples.
· Arrangement of the reports for the delivery to the OPD patients or inpatients. · Participation in staff training programmes. · Supervision of the lab assistant in performing test procedures. · Reporting critical results to the Pathology/Microbiology/Biochemistry Incharge and record them in a separate register. · Keeping the patient information and test results confidential. · Regular checking of the reagents and specimens in order to prevent turbidity and expiry. · Sending the samples to the outsourced laboratory for the procedures not available in the hospital. · Receiving and rechecking the reports of the outsourced laboratory. · Remain update with the new procedures and methods available for the lab services. · Organize the practical classes of the labs in the department. · Cleaning /maintaining of all equipment. · Technical help to students/research scholar during experiments. · Logistic help during both theoretical/practical classes. |
General Conditions:
